David Kobritz, Managing Director

With over thirty years of experience, David's expertise is well recognised in the areas of project development, management and investment in retail, commercial and residential projects.

As the Managing Director of Deal Corporation, David combines his strong communication and negotiation skills with his lateral thinking approach to focus on delivering the best outcomes for his clients and his team.

David extends his ability to identify and cultivate potential opportunities to other interests, which include owning racehorses and being a syndicate member of the new Melbourne A-League football team, Melbourne Heart.

Andrew Wyman, Director

Andrew enjoys using his town planning experience to convert a vision for a project into a successful development.

Andrew's particular expertise is in masterplans which take several years from site selection to completion of the final stage. Andrew applies his skills to coordinate the masterplan to incorporate a multitude of uses.

Understanding that the success of any development is dependent on all of the parties involved, Andrew's role involves working closely with each member of the project team, including architects, surveyors, builders, councils and local authorities.

Michael Cornwell, Development Director

A qualified builder, Michael has over twenty-eight years in the property and construction industry, twelve of which have been with Deal Corporation. Michael has the knowledge and experience to manage the quality and delivery of each project.

With an understanding of all aspects of construction, Michael works with the project team, architects and builders to realise the common goal of creating the best development possible, in order to return value to investors, residents and tenants.

Michael's expertise lies in being able to bring all parts of the development - financing, marketing and delivery - to ensure a great outcome.

Simmy Abraham, Projects Director

Simmy's experience spans three continents and more than two decades. He has gained a thorough knowledge of all aspects of property development and building, which enables him to manage projects and create real value for Deal Corporation's partners, consultants, builders an clients.

Since joining Deal Corporation in 2002, Simmy has worked on several major projects, resulting in successful mixed-use developments on prime sites.

Simmy enjoys the challenges and rewards of being involved in every aspect of a development, from site selection through to completion and sales. At all times, Simmy's focus remains on achieving the best possible result for all stakeholders.

Michael Ratliff, Sales & Marketing Manager

With over thirty years of experience in both Melbourne and Sydney, including many years of running his own real estate business, Michael is an integral member of the Deal Corporation team.

As each project's marketing strategy is unique, it is Michael's role to understand and identify the optimum communication and sales channels, whether they be direct or through agents.

Specialising in off-the-plan sales, Michael's focus is not on achieving a single sale, but in subsequent sales of other projects to the same investors.

Phil Briggs, Financial Controller

As Financial Controller, Phil's focus is predominantly on project analysis and cost controls. His other responsibilities include financial management and reporting.

As an important measure of the success of a project is financial viability, Phil enjoys the challenges of seeing a project through from the initial cost analysis to completion within budget.

With over a decade of property and construction financial experience, Phil is well able to adapt to the ever changing financial regulations and requirements of the industry.

Dean Kobritz, Project Manager

Dean joined Deal with a keen interest and passion for residential development in Melbourne.

Joining the family business, Dean works closely with David and other members of the team on smaller scale boutique developments, much like David did when he initially started Deal Corporation.

Steadily learning and creating relationships with key members of the building and development industry has set the foundations for a long and successful career in property development.

Adam Cook, Strategic Business Manager

Adam Cook recently joined the Deal team after a long and successful career in specialist banking.

Having worked in structured property finance for a leading international specialist bank, Adam was keen to join Deal Corporation and work closer with developers. Adam is heavily involved in finance, project funding, analysing new projects and risk management.

Looking to the future, Adam will be a key member of the legal and finance team and will use his banking experience and skills to ensure projects run smoothly from beginning to end.
